Weston, established in 1996, is one of the newest cities in southeastern Florida located in Broward County, with its west side beside the Everglades. Most of the city was developed by the company that developed Walt Disney World, Arvida/JMB Realty Group, and covers about 27 square miles. The master-planned family-oriented community, which is home to over 68,000 active residents, was voted by Family Circle Magazine as one of its Top 10 Best Towns for Families, in 2015. It was also ranked 19th by Money Magazine in its Biggest Earners Categories in 2010, and as one of the best affordable suburbs by Business Week in 2006.
