Born in the United States, and raised in Puerto Rico, Ricky moved back to the United States at the age of 20. Shortly after, he married his high school sweetheart. For 40 years, Ricky has been happily married to Bonny, a university and school Spanish teacher. They are currently empty nesters and live in Fort Lauderdale, close to their daughters Zulma, a cardio sonographer, and Cristina, who has a master’s in architecture.
At the age of 21 Ricky enlisted in the United States Army to serve his country and stationed in Germany. Here he learned numerous trades, but most importantly his experiences in the Army instilled him the discipline it takes to build his real estate business today. When discharged from the Army, Ricky opened a car dealership in Central Florida, following the footsteps of his father and uncles. Known for his excellent reputation, Ricky’s dealership landed a contract with KinderCare, a national learning center for early childhood. Prior to entering real estate, Ricky also became a food broker for Iberia International Foods and then for his own company ABW Tropical Foods.
With his strong sales background and entrepreneur spirit, Ricky decided to go for his Real Estate License in 2008. Ricky is well known for his high ethical standards and for being an honest, hard-working family man. He does everything to ensure his clients a full real estate service and strives to exceed his client’s expectations by making the home buying and selling process fun, easy and stress-free. Ricky’s goal is to provide the most excellent experience to buyers and sellers, in order to earn their trust, referrals, and repeat business.
